Dr. Nawal obtained their M.B., ChB from Basrah University in Basrah, Iraq, and furthered their education with a Diploma in Child Health from Maternity & Children’s Hospital in Riyadh, KSA, in cooperation with the University of Edinburgh, UK. They are also a board-certified specialist in Pediatrics, holding both the Jordanian Board from Amman, Jordan, and the Arab Board from Damascus, Syria.

Dr. Nawal has honed their skills through prestigious clinical fellowships, including one in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSH & RC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and another in Pediatric Hepatology at King's College Hospital in London, UK.
